McCann Erickson SF was tasked with creating a varied and attention-grabbing music space to promote HP + Beats Audio technology. We decided that the space should be scalable enough to outlive any particular campaign and so we developed “HP Play”, a Facebook brand page which engages fans via 4 main categories of interest: Music, Video and Film, Games and Sports. By providing fans with information, activities and contests that latter to each of the four categories we grew a community of over 130k users in only 3 months.
Partner Dan Read and myself developed and concepted over 15 unique and innovative applications, games and contests that live both on and off of Facebook and have presented a full comprehensive strategy for growth in the social media space ranging from simple Facebook strategies to more sophisticated Mobile applications and live streaming concerts and events. The page continues to develop and evolve under the guidance of myself, and my partner Dan Read.
